Birch Bend Cottage Resort is located on Upper Lake Chemong in the heart of the Kawarthas. We are close to Buckhorn, Lakefield, Peterborough and only 90 minutes from Toronto. Our clean, well equipped, smoke free, waterfront cottages face west for awe inspiring sunsets. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, lounging and horseshoes are but a few activities. At Birch Bend you can't run out of things to do, or ways to do nothing.

Pet Policy:
Pets in residence. Guest pets: Pets are welcome! There is a pet walking area both on and off the property, an on-site pet swimming area as well as a safe, sandy "human friendly" beach. We have no size restrictions. Dogs are welcome to join in all the family fun - boating, swimming and other Birch Bend activities. They must be under control at all times and not left alone in the cottage. Please mention your pet when making a reservation. Pets Stay Free!
