Arbutus Grove Cottage is a child and pet-friendly 'home away from home'. A relaxing retreat for guests returning from a day of boating/whale watching, golfing, birdwatching or beachcombing. With the BBQ heating up guests can kick back in a hammock and watch the hummingbirds hover above the lavender while the nuthatches flit from branch to branch high above in the arbutus grove. Ah! The sound of silence.

During the Fall to Spring period the weary warrior can snuggle up in a cozy duvet beside a roaring fire and devour that book you have been looking forward to reading. A beach access is close at hand.

Arrow's Run Cottage is a newly constructed, modern cottage located on a hillock in a wooded setting, surrounded by a stand of arbutus/manzanitas and cedar/fir trees. After unpacking your bags, uncork your favourite wine, pour a glass or two and step out onto the elevated deck, inhale the the fresh air mingled with the ocean breezes and the scent of lavender and wildflowers. Arrow's Run has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a loft so it is most suitable for small families or 2 - 3 couples looking for an 'island' retreat.

Guests have easy access to two decks which have been built to catch both the early morning or late afternoon sun. An uniquely eroded, sandstone beach is a short stroll away and is a beachcombers delight. Pour a glass of wine and sit and relax on the sun drenched shore overlooking the Gulf of Georgia. The 'Galiano Tourist Map' is provided 'complimentary' to all guests - and your hosts will introduce you to many hidden beaches, trails and island highlights to make your stay a 'memorable' one.

Services and Amenities:

Fully equipped modern kitchen, all linen supplied, each cottage has a selection of DVD/VHS's and a full sound system. The newer, larger cottage has built in speakers and full laundry facilities for longer stays.

Attractions:

STICKS and STONES Country Cottages is across from a beach access to a sandstone shelf that is perfect for beachcombing and swimming. A complimentary Tourist Map will assist your hosts in showing you the beautiful hikes along ridges (Bodega Ridge), down to secluded beaches (Grey Peninsula, Pebble Beach, Mathews Point Beach, Morning Beach, Coon Bay and Bellhouse Park) and up Mount Galiano, for a 360 degree view of the Southern Gulf Islands.

Rates are listed in Canadian dollars. XE.com Personal Currency Assistant. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Long term rates available. Long term accommodation to be negotiated.

Arbutus Grove Cottage: $85 - $95 per night (double occupancy)... with an additional cost of $20 per night for additional guests. Weekly rates are $595 - $665 (double occupancy) according to the season.

Arrow's Run Cottage: $110 - $135 per night (double occupancy)... with an additional cost of $25 per night for additional guests. Weekly rates are $770 - $945 (double occupancy) according to the season.

Reservations are recommended - we require a cancellation notice of 72 hours.

Check out time is 10:00AM - special arrangements may be made when catching an evening ferry.

We offer a 15% discount for Moped & Boat Rentals for our guests.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Personal Cheque, Cash.
