Surrounded by beautiful nature and the awesome peaks of the Rocky Mountains, the Cariboo Mountains and the Monashee Mountains, Twin Peaks Resort is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the silence. It is located at the northwest entrance to the great National Parks of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, just 2.5 km outside Valemount and 120 Km to Jasper / Mt. Robson Provincial Park.
Choose between the large luxury lodge and the small comfortable cabins! In the summer, the lodge is run as a hostel for guests with limited budget.
The lodge includes one single room, four double rooms, two rooms each with four bunk beds, a living room (with pool table), a dining room and a well equipped kitchen.
Each of our cabins includes one bedroom with either a double or bunk bed, bathroom with bathtub and shower, toilet and sink, as well as a living and dining room with kitchen. All cabins are well heated and have a TV and a gas-fueled fireplace. The sofa can be converted into a bed so up to 5 persons can live in one cabin. Each cabin has a covered terrace, a campfire site and a picnic table. There are several grills available.
Or experience Valemount the aboriginal way! Stay in the resort's Teepee lodge, an authentic Native Indian teepee.
Twin Peaks Resort offers unique activities all year round. In the summer, view the spectacular migration of Chinook salmon which travel from the Pacific Ocean all the way to the McLennan River which runs through the resort. Other activities include hiking, golfing, volleyball, badminton, table-tennis, archery, mountain biking, wildlife watching (on the grounds of the resort!), kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, horse whispering, white water and mountain bike tours, helicopter sightseeing, helicopter hikes, hiking, gentle raft tours, ATV tours.
In the winter, take a dogsledding tour or sign-up for a day of cat-skiing. Or try snowmobiling, snow-cat skiing and snow-cat scenic tours, dogsled tours, heli-skiing, helicopter snowshoe tours, ice fishing and cross-country skiing on fixed slopes.
