Stanford Inn is Fernie’s finest vacation resort, offering an array of amenities. Enjoy a massage at the spa while taking in the scenic view, warm up by the fire in the Grizzly Den, or get physical at the fitness centre and 166’ waterslide at the swimming pool. Located between Fernie and the ski resort along the banks of the Elk River, the Stanford offers an ideal setting for your vacation.

Aquatic and Fitness Centre
Stanford also boasts an enormous 166' Waterslide. That's almost three times the size of most hotel waterslides and one of the largest in Canada. Surrounding the waterslide is a huge 75' indoor swimming pool and just outside are 2 large outdoor hot tubs. Before going into the pool relax in the sauna or get physical at the fitness centre.

The Oasis Spa
The Oasis Spa offers everything from massage to aesthetics to hair design. Located on the second floor of the resort, the spa offers some of the best views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Relax after a day of exploring the mountains and enjoy the scenery while you unwind.

The Grizzly Den
After an exhilerating day of enjoying all that the mountains offer, relax by the fire at our Grizzly Den while enjoying hearty food and a drink. A spectacular view awaits you, either of the big screen TV or of the sun setting over the Elk Valley.
