Get away from it all at Vidette Lake Gold Mine Resort! Nestled at the southern edge of the Cariboo Plateau in Savona, the historic Vidette Lodge, a former gold mine, offers 16 lakes for fishing or swimming, a 200 ft. waterfall, spectacular scenery, excellent hiking and, most important, a place to forget about the troubles of the world.

The HUDSON BAY COTTAGE is a secluded three bedroom log cabin tucked away in its own private bay. The cabin in equipped with fridge, stove, oven, bbq and all the serving tools for groups of up to 20. You can comfortably do a sit down meal inside this cabin for 20 persons. A perfect place to gather for the family reunion or other large groups at mealtime. There is a full bathroom, large kitchen area, dining area and living room all spacious. Also an outside deck that goes all around and a boat tie up right there.

The DOCKS COTTAGE, located right on the lake, has 3 bedrooms and is a perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking view of Vidette Lake. You can sit on the deck and just soak in the peace and quiet. The main swimming area and main dock is 100 ft, away. It is fully equipped to serve 8 persons, including a BBQ on your deck. A perfect cabin for a romantic get away or for the whole family to enjoy. It's like having your own lake in your back yard.

The MINER'S CABIN is located near the playground. This cabin is a perfect size for 2 adults or a family with children. The bedroom has a Queen bed, the kitchen is fully stocked but there is no fridge. Ice is available at lodge and use of freezer space is available for longer stays. The bathroom has a shower and sink with flush toilet. A BBQ is available for your convenience. This cabin is not available after Thanksgiving til May.

The BOX CAR CABIN is a one room cabin located conveniently across from the shower house. It has a nice deck on the back. All the pots and pans are there and a Queen size bed. You need to bring a camp stove but we do have a BBQ on the playground for your convenience. Perfect for a 1 or 2 but has been know to hold a family of 4. Not available for winter.
