Long Beach Lodge Resort was designed and built to resemble a grand West Coast style home. Cedar board and batten, and shingle exterior, a metal roof and stone chimney are all traditional elements of West Coast design.
Similarly the interior was built to be warm and welcoming, to create a feeling that you have just arrived at a friend's home. You will begin to relax as soon as you enter the warm comforting great room with its massive granite fireplace and its Douglas fir post and beam construction.
Sink into an overstuffed chair, put your feet up and gaze out at the sandy beach with the crashing surf to the lighthouse beyond. The Lodge is a virtual gallery showcasing outstanding local artists.
After a long day of fresh air you will appreciate the meticulous attention to detail that has been lavished on each Long Beach Guest room. Three types of rooms are available:
• Our intimate BEACHFRONT rooms offer first-class amenities that showcase our spectacular oceanfront location.
• The cozy FOREST rooms provide a true retreat from the world. The scents of cedar and spruce drift in from the temperate rainforest just outside.
• Carefully placed in the rain forest, the two-bedroom, self contained COTTAGES are undoubtedly the most luxurious on the west coast. All are within an easy stroll of the hotel and beach. The cottages are perfect for families or couples who wish a more private setting.
