I'm already listed somewhere else. Why should I list with you too?
The Internet is a vast place... and the more places you are listed,
the better the chances of someone finding you. With a
PET FRIENDLY web page, you'll
increase your exposure and help visitors find your rental.
Pet Friendly Canada also caters to a very specific market.
This means we can "home in" on targeted search
engines and websites that already have receptive audiences
of pet lovers.

What makes the PET FRIENDLY Canada directory
different from other accommodations sites?
The PET FRIENDLY Canada directory appeals to pet lovers who want to
travel within Canada. This is an ever-growing market, and people with
pets are always struggling to find places that will accept their furry
friends! As this market continues to grow more and more people will be
coming here to find great vacation rentals which their entire families
can enjoy.
We hold top 10 listings in the search engines for many
excellent key phrases, and we're linked on hundreds of sites
all over the web so that people can more easily find the
properties listed with us. We promote the directory and the
accommodations in them not just through the web, but also
through magazines, publicity, trade shows and more. Pet Friendly
has appeared in the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star,
British Columbia Magazine, Canadian Living, the
Vancouver Sun, on CBC Newsworld, and much more.
Note that we do not chase "hits", which is
a very ambiguous term - and a meaningless one too (many programs
can be used to inflate "hits"). We focus solely on
drawing interested travelers to the site - people who want to
get information, make inquiries, or make bookings.
Finally, last but certainly not least, you'll enjoy fast,
friendly, and personal service!

Does my property have to accept all pets?
No, however you must allow pets to sleep indoors with their
people. When you list your property in the PET FRIENDLY Canada
accommodations directory, you'll be able to enter your
pet policies in detail to help ensure a good match. Note that
the more welcoming you are, the better the opportunity to book
rooms to travellers with pets! Click here

What is the difference between a Standard Listing and a Custom Direct Link?
Standard Listings are what most of the accommodations on our website use.
These full-page listings offer up to 4 photos, room for description, amenities,
pet policy, and of course, your contact information. An email inquiry box is
also conveniently located at the bottom of your listing. Standard Listings are
essentially abbreviated versions of your own website.
A link back to your website is also provided with a Standard Listing, for
visitors who want more information. However, we have found that many of our
visitors appreciate the concise, "at-a-glance" information provided.
The consistent format of the Standard Listing also makes it fast and easy
for visitors who don't have much time to spare.
Custom Direct Links were introduced due to requests from some of our
clients. They consist of a single photo and a description, and a link directly
back to your own website. That is, when visitors browse the site and see a lodging
they'd like more information on, they'll click a "More Info" link. With
Standard Listings, this leads to a page on the PetFriendly site. With Custom Links,
visitors are sent automatically to your own website instead of to ours.
Which type of listing should you choose? Each accommodation has to make
the choice whether the Standard Listing or the Custom Link is the right choice for
them. There is no black-and-white answer. Most accommodations find that the
Standard Listing is sufficient, while others prefer that visitors view their own
website.

How can I get more exposure on the site?
We now offer "Featured Text Ads". These ads are province-specific, and
appear at the top of every page.
For example: if you would like to attract visitors from
British Columbia, your Featured Ad would appear at the
top of all British Columbia pages.
Featured listings may be purchased in 3, 6, or 12-month
increments, with discounted rates for 6 and 12 month
packages. Pricing varies depending on province. Please
contact us for details. These ads are subject to availability.
