  • Banff: Banff Gondola - (403) 762-2523
    Dog-friendly Banff attraction, Latitude 51° N and Longitude 116° W
    Open year-round except for two weeks in January. Weather permitting. Dogs must be on leashed and under control at all times. Visitors must clean up after their dogs.

  • Banff: Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park - (403) 762-1550
    Dog-friendly hike, 51°14'50.84"N / 115°50'16.22"W
    Open year-round, but trail is not serviced in the winter (slippery conditions). Pets must be on leash. Please clean up after your dog.

  • Calgary: Fish Creek Provincial Park - (403) 297-5293
    Provincial Park located at 15979 Bow Bottom Trail SE
    Open year-round. Extensive trail system. Leashed dogs welcome in most parts of the park. Please clean up after your dog.

  • Jasper: Jasper Tramway - (780) 852-3093
    Pet-friendly attraction, Lat.52.851062 Lon.118.123922
    Open mid-April to mid-October. Pets must be leashed at all times. Muzzles are provided for all dogs during the 7 minute tram ride.

  • Okotoks: Okotoks Erratic "The Big Rock"
    Located off Highway #7, 10 kilometres southwest of Okotoks.
    "The Big Rock" is the world's largest known glacial erratic-rock transported far from its place of origin by glacial ice. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trails. Pet owners are expected to pick up after their dog and dispose of the bag in the garbage bin located at the parking lot.

  • Water Valley: Hunter Valley Recreational Enterprises
    Pet-friendly tour operator
    Open summer and fall. Dogs are allowed on the hikes (but not on the white-water rafting tours).
